Discounting your inventory or is it inventorying your discounts???

I was at a customer site and diagnosing some issues and I ran into this little bug. You can create a discount to target product properties but not all inventories. It is my opinion that this is a bug in Commerce Server.

 

Why is that? In Marketing Manager you can create a discount expression and target any number of catalog properties. In the catalog properties you are allowed to target the inventory properties as well. If you create an expression using the inve
